Schala is the first to reach the crashed Epoch in the primordial canyon. As the others run over to her, she leans into the cockpit to see if the systems are still operational…

The primordial canyon disappears as a time vortex pulls the group away. Did Schala bump something or…? The only visible forms are the Chrono Bolt group, the crashed Epoch, and…the temporal predator! But here, in the time vortex, it’s form is solid. Maybe they can harm it now?

The battle the group has been eager for… Time to kill a time spider.

Pursued by the temporal predator, the Chrono Bolt group clears the path ahead of them and continues onward. Kair takes a detour to snatch a shard of strange red rock and a dose of Rafflesia poisoning. Ahead the group can see a vehicle?

The Chrono Bolt group flees deeper into the canyon hoping to escape the temporal spider chasing them. Teleporting ahead of the others, Izar spots what looks like a flying machine embedded in the canyon floor?

The Chrono Bolt group flees along the southern branch of the canyon as the spider scrambles after them.

As the Chrono Bolt explores the canyon looking for the unusual metal object they feel a strange tension in the air… An temporal anomaly erupts behind them in the shape of the arachnid that snatched them from the timestream!

The Chrono Bolt group strike King Cave Crab’s weak point for massive damage again and again. Finally, the giant grab is defeated.

This marks the end of the second – and final – tutorial battle. Now the campaign starts in earnest.

The Chrono Bolt groups learns that King Cave Crab is effectively immune to physical damage while it’s eyes are closed. Fortunately, Schala’s elemental attacks are still effective!

The Chrono Bolt group defeats two more Cave Crabs and then regroups as the King Cave Crab draws near.
