{"id":1522,"date":"2018-07-14T21:14:00","date_gmt":"2018-07-15T01:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/?p=1522"},"modified":"2018-07-14T21:36:41","modified_gmt":"2018-07-15T01:36:41","slug":"marthrangul-great-dragon-take-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/2018\/07\/14\/marthrangul-great-dragon-take-two\/","title":{"rendered":"Marthrangul Great Dragon, Take Two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had such a great time painting\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/2018\/06\/03\/marthrangul-great-dragon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marthrangul, Great Dragon<\/a>\u00a0as a White Dragon that I decided to order a second copy and paint it again as another type of dragon. I considered Red or Black but finally settled on Green. Green Dragons are not one of my favorite types but they are the classic.<\/p>\n<p>I decided to go for a treasure trove base for this particular Dragon. I had considered doing this with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/2018\/03\/14\/blightfang\/\">Blightfang<\/a>\u00a0but wasn&#8217;t feeling quite ambitious enough. I ended up following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZBovRUaPXA8\">Youtube video<\/a> embedded below and it worked like a charm&#8230;but I probably could have added more bling.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZBovRUaPXA8?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>I think I still prefer the White Dragon but I&#8217;m quite pleased with how this Green Dragon turned out. Who knows &#8211; maybe this will be the start of a series? Starting dark and going light. It also obscured most of the gems.
