My\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/2016\/12\/07\/dual-pistol-wielding-enforcer\/\">first\u00a0Enforcer<\/a> paint job was on the conservative side so, with some consultation from my wife on the coloring, I decided to be slightly more adventurous with my second Enforcer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-160\" src=\"http:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-side-of-dual-blade-enforcer-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-side-of-dual-blade-enforcer-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-side-of-dual-blade-enforcer-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-side-of-dual-blade-enforcer-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-side-of-dual-blade-enforcer-533x300.jpg 533w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I did not use a primer this time around but painted directly onto the miniature. This allowed even the most minor details to show through.\u00a0I\u00a0mentioned in a previous post about how I&#8217;m learning the idiosyncrasies of the various materials I&#8217;m using and the DIP method is definitely one of them&#8230;after a dozen predictable results it suddenly drastically darkened this miniature. Remember how it didn&#8217;t do enough to darken poor <a href=\"http:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/2016\/12\/06\/barnabus-frost-and-almaran-the-gold\/\">Almaran the Gold<\/a>? \u00a0I think the devil is in the details and I&#8217;m going to check the consistency of the varnish after mixing from here on.
