It&#8217;s a play by post tactical roleplaying system designed to support <em>Chrono Trigger<\/em> and <em>Chrono Cross<\/em> style games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Play by post has a very different cadence to it than tabletop, virtual tabletop, or chat based roleplaying. I&#8217;ve been in play by post battles that have taken longer than some of my tabletop campaigns. Yet there hasn&#8217;t been a lot of developer attention given to play by post. Some were successful and others less so. Most of them were, no surprise, based on <em>Shining Force<\/em> but a few from other settings showed up. I was inspired by these various attempts to design a tactical roleplaying specifically for play by post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, it was a fun exercise and I&#8217;m running the first game using it now over at<a href=\"http:\/\/forums.shiningforcecentral.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Shining Force Central<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wanted to share a project that I&#8217;ve been working on recently.
