{"id":87,"date":"2016-12-06T02:10:17","date_gmt":"2016-12-06T02:10:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/?p=87"},"modified":"2016-12-06T02:10:48","modified_gmt":"2016-12-06T02:10:48","slug":"battleguard-and-stone-golems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/2016\/12\/06\/battleguard-and-stone-golems\/","title":{"rendered":"Battleguard and Stone Golems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t know that I\u00a0can really count the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reapermini.com\/OnlineStore\/golem\/sku-down\/77168\">Battleguard Golem<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reapermini.com\/OnlineStore\/golem\/sku-down\/77171\">Stone Golem<\/a>\u00a0from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/1513061270\/reaper-miniatures-bones-an-evolution-of-gaming-min\">original Bones Kickstarter<\/a> as practice. Both Golems were very straightforward to paint with only the Battleguard Golem having any detailing at all.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-88\" src=\"http:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-battleguard-and-stone-golems-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"img_20161205_210350766\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-battleguard-and-stone-golems-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-battleguard-and-stone-golems-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-battleguard-and-stone-golems-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/kaihaku.net\/roleplaying\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/painted-battleguard-and-stone-golems-533x300.jpg 533w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a testament to the Stone Golem sculpt that I could just give it a quick couple of coats and still be\u00a0so pleased with the result. It&#8217;s a great model. The Battleguard Golem needed more skill to really shine and while it&#8217;s not horrific it definitely\u00a0would have benefited from more detailing.
