Aren’t all Valkyrie female? Well, in any case, we’ve taken to calling this Aina the Opera Singer. I think she’d make a fun miniature for a Bard or Skald. After the simple task of painting those four skeletons I wanted to take on something more challenging as my next round of practice and decided to paint another human.

I felt good about the detailing on this one. It felt like I was starting to get the hang of touching up those tiny details although I still fearfully avoided the eyes.

I was also quite pleased with the shading provided by the DIP Method with two exceptions. You can see on the back where the varnish pooled and I wished that I had dabbed away some of that excess – especially on the corner.
