Following the polluted waters upstream from the thick forest where the apes congregated our heroes heard loud “kabooms” in distance that grower ever louder as they came closer.

Rounding a bend they saw a horrible sight – the forest ripped apart with massive holes blown into the ground. To no one’s surprise Koopa Troopas could be seen along with their mechanical servants and a large majestic looking bomb.

Tiger Lily noticed that the aggressive ape from earlier had followed them here and she suspected that he was holding a grudge. Fortunately another monkey had followed them as well to provide support.

A colossal fight erupted between our heroes and the Koopa Kompany. Tiger Lily particularly enjoyed throwing the mechanical monstrosities into the deep pits.

The King Bomb-Om was set off during the fighting and this caused an earthquake with the pits collapsing in on themselves. As our heroes retreated a Magikoopa wearing green swooped in and berated them for being criminals who ruined a mining operation.

Determined to punish them the Magikoopa caused a spell on one of the remaining Koopa Troopas with gigantic results!

Our heroes were on the run chased by a massive Koopa Para-Troopa over collapsing terrain!
