When we left our heroes they were being chased through collapsing terrain by a Koopa Troopa made colossal by Magikoopa magic.

Attempts to battle the massive foe proved ineffective as it shrugged off attacks with it’s newfound bulk. It’s movements were slow and clumsy, but it could cover significant terrain as it pursued the heroes.

Our heroes’ challenges were compounded as more Koopa Troopas entered the fray.

In the midst of this, Tiger Lily and Lamima noticed a mushroom in danger of falling into a pit and quickly went to the rescue.

Things were looking dire for our heroes when they failed their escape to the thick forest nearby and instead became bogged down fighting. This let the gigantic Koopa Troopa close the distance and engage them directly. Things were looking dire when Tiger Lily spotted something green flying in a circle high above. Was it reinforcements from the Koopa Kompany? It turned out to be the heroes from the Beginner’s Box Luna and Meowmena riding on Joe, the spoilers that they had tamed at the climax of that adventure. These old heroes drove off the Koopa Kompany, rescuing the new heroes. However Caqui was lost in the collapsing terrain and it took some time for Tiger Lily to dig her out.
